I Need Your Feedback: New Super Human Radio Format
| The Show |
As many of you already know I have gone to a two-hour show for 2011. I want to hear your feedback and thoughts. How do you like the new longer-show? There are lots of variables manipulate: Right now I'm doing a single topic per hour and periodically doing a show focused on different aspects of a single topic.
I need to hear from the listeners. I am toying with breaking the Podcast into two separate hour segments so people can download single hour files for those who fee the continuous-two-hour show is a bit too long to commit to. I have lots of idesbut none mean anything if the listeners don't like it.
Soooo.... I need your feedback now please. Post here in the comments section and no serious idea will be ignored. Thanks for contributing to the success of the show!

I listen to your show regularly, and I think this would be acceptable, as long as the quality of information divulged remains intact.
Remember, Quality over Quantity
Keep up the awesome work - you've made a difference, so thank you.
The mp3 files are still quite small even for the 2 hour shows, so I don't see an issue with that either.
The main concern I have with the two hour show format is for you. Being able to get two different quality guests per day must be (at least) twice as stressful, and exhausting. Plus a year is a long time to keep that up! If you feel that it's doable even in the long term, by all means continue with the two hour shows, the least I can do is listen.
I don't think two hours is too much to commit to. I listen to the podcast on my phone and if something comes up, I can pick up where I left off.
I think the real question is do you think you can fill two hours long term? This is some of the best information I have found on fitness and nutrition and it is very dense. Almost zero time is spent off topic. If this format does not change, and you have two hours to fill… I want to hear it no doubt.
Have a couple of guest ideas for you. Dr Eric Plasker, author of The 100 Year Lifestyle which discusses how would you live if you knew you were going to live to 100, ad Chris Crowley and Dr Henry S. Lodge who co-wrote Younger Next Year which is about lifestyle changes in you 50's so you are healthy in your 80s. Among other things they recommend 6 days a week of exercise - two weight training days and four cardio days, at least one of which is fairly intense. Book was very interesting and enjoyable to read - if they are as interesting in person might be a good topic.
