Guest: Eric Cressey M.A., C.S.C.S.
Regardless of your chosen sports discipline - whether you are a coach or an athlete, the off-season holds the greatest opportunity to make gains and increase proficiency. Yet so many of us come out the off-season with no greater gains than when we went in.
It takes proper planning and solid choices to make the kind of gains during the off season that determine whether you'll be an elite athlete or a ham-and-egg'r.
On this episode of Super Human Radio we will explore the best methods to employ that will ensure that you'll make progress during your off-season training.
We'll cover sports specific techniques and protocols as well as methods of testing to see where you are and what areas you will need to work on. We'll discuss the importance of a counterintuitive approach to training as well as the "Black Hole of Athleticism" which is where most athletes end up losing ground during their off season training.
