Burgie Is One Week Old.. And Looks As Good As New

Burgie turned on week old today. She is just as fresh looking and stinky as she was the day she was born. If I didn't know better I would think she just came home from McD's. Funny, we keep her in the garage because she smells characteristically like McD's and we don't want the house to smell like a McD's restaurant. Alisa was concerned that the little field mice that get into the garage from time to time would smell this "food" and easily get into the shoe box and eat Burgie. Much to my surprise, not a single mouse has even tried to lift the easily removable cover of the shoe box or squeeze in through one of the many air-holes on each side of the box! What do the mice know that people don't?
